TCTR - Driver & Office Incentives
Twin Cities Transport & Recovery strives to lead the Towing & Recovery industry in safety, integrity, and quality of service. As a thank you, effective immediately the TCTR Driver Safety Incentive has been increased to 5% (Day Shift) & 10% (Night Shift). Additionally, the TCTR Office Incentive has been increased to $350 per month. We will continue to raise expectations and provide opportunities for advancement throughout the company.
DRIVER SAFETY INCENTIVE - INCREASE EXAMPLES (Estimated Service Rates)
$100 Tow | Day = $5, Night = $10
$200 Double - 1 Trip, 2 Vehicles | Day = $10, Night = $20
$250 Equipment Move | Day = $12.50, Night = $25
$500 Container Move | Day = $25, Night = $50
$1500 Out of Town Run | Day = $75, Night = $150
*Driver Safety Incentive is in addition to Hourly and Overtime Pay
Hourly Pay Range - $17.50 - $30.00/hr + Overtime starting after 40 hours per week.

Shifts are designed to allow for a work life balance with no ‘on call’ hours.
DAY SHIFT
5% Safety Incentive ($2-6/hr)

Thur–Sat 6a-6p & E/O Wed 6a-6p
NIGHT SHIFT
10% Safety Incentive ($3-8/hr)
Sun–Tue & E/O Sat 6p-6a

COMPENSATION:
Heavy Duty Tow Truck Operator
(CDL A & Experience Required)
$23.50 - $30.00/hour + Safety Incentive
*CDL A with no towing experience = starting $20/hr
Light Duty Tow Truck Operator
$17.50 – $22.50/hour + Safety Incentive
Dispatcher
$17-25/hr + $200/month Office Incentive
Lot Attendant
*No experience necessary, developmental role with advancement to driving.

24/7 Emergency Dispatcher 

 

$17-$25/hr (Plus $350/month Office Incentive)

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION

 

This position plays a key role within the organization. Responsibilities include communication with emergency responders and general customers, implementing company policies/procedures, and continuously looking for ways to improve operations. Workstations include software with local servers, 2-way radios, GPS monitors, integrated IP Office phone system, and access to any relevant information to help coordinate emergency services. The role will require decisions to be made and cooperation with teammates constantly. Therefore, a sound understanding of organizational goals will be the foundation for on-going operations. The ability to problem solve and accomplish tasks will be a core requirement. Training will be provided with on-going training as the position continues to develop.  

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handling phone calls, emails, and radio communication while accurately informing responders, drivers, and operators of the details needed to properly respond.
  • Continuously updating information to local server in order to track costs, billing, and future reporting.
  • Follow company procedures and work with management regularly to ensure operations are running effectively at a high level.
  • Fully understand core competencies and how they can be used to continuously provide quality services.
  • Perform many administrative tasks that are either assigned or generally needed throughout the day, week, or month.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: B.A., B.S., or equivalent – logistics focus, business or accounting preferred
Experience: Entry level to five years – the ability to learn and retain information will be critical

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent writing and typing skills
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical skills, and understanding of customer and company expectations
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Decision making and problem solving skill sets
  • Geographic knowledge – ability to use and understand mapping software
  • Desire to learn and continuously improve
  • Reliability and punctuality for all interactions

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The company has invested in an IP Office phone system that utilizes all locations for simultaneous ringing. Local servers are kept on site with redundancies in place including multiple generators to provide 24/7 service for its customers.
